The Rev. William Louis Johnson officiated at the candlelighted ceremony at 7:30 o'clock. The bride is to be graduated from Wilmington College this month. Following his graduation from Wilmington College, the bridegroom joined the teaching staff of the Loveland City Schools. MRS. JOHN E. BAUMGART (Allen Studio Photo) Parents of the couple are Mrs. Harold Wilson Varney of Loveland and the late Mr. James McKinley Brock; Mrs. Karl J. Baumgart of Nashville, Ill., and the late Rev. Baumgart. A half dozen seven-branched candelabra of graduated heights were placed in threes at either side of the altar on which were two vases of white gladioli. The chancel was banked with aspidistra greenery and palms while in all windowsills were lighted candles. Organist for the prelude of music was Mr. James Williams of Branch Hill. The bride, given in marriage by her step-father, wore a longlength gown of silk organza designed with a fitted bodice, scooped neckline and elbow sleeves. Appliques of Alencon lace formed motifs on the bodice and sleeves and were repeated in a narrow panel down the front of the slim skirt which was accented in the back by a detachable chapel train. The bride's elbow-length illusion veil cascaded from a jewel-encrusted crown. Her flowers were a cluster of white roses and carnations. Miss Esther Brock was her sister's maid of honor. Miss Linda Woods of Piqua was bridesmaid, Miss Regina Varney, the bride's step-sister Loveland, the junior bridesmaid. Pamela and David Bishop were flower girl and ring bearer. Mr. James Bishop of Loveland was best man for Mr. Baumgart. Ushers were Kenneth Hockman also of Loveland, and Mr. David Fry of Branch Hill. The bridal attendants wore identical frocks. of pink taffeta with Empire waistlines, the floor -length skirts ending -in short trains. In their hair they wore pink sweetheart roses. They carried clusters of pink sweetheart roses and white carnations. The flower girl carried a basket arrangement of white roses. The corsages of both mothers were cymbidium orchids.
