He is survived by his wife, Hazel Creech Bowman; a son, Gerald Lee Bowman, Blanchester, OH; a daughter, Betty Sue Gabbard, Booneville, KY; a brother, Arch Bowman, Booneville, KY; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services were at 11:30 a.m. August 3, 1987, at Searcy and Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Hubert Baker officiating.
