Schramm, Wellsville Central Schools attendance supervisor, died in Jones Memorial Hospital at 2:00 o'clock Wednesday morning. She had been seriously ill for about two weeks but in poor health for some time. Mrs. Schramm had been a resident of Wellsville for about 30 years. She was born June 27, 1901. in Genesee, Township, and a daughter of L. D. Griffith and Agnes Keech Griffith. She was a graduate of Mansfield State Teachers College. She went to Wellsville from Genesee after having taught school in Ulysses and Coudersport. Deceased was married June 24, 1937, to Paul Schramm, who survives together with a daughter, Carolyn Ann Schramm at home; two brothers, Charles Griffith of Wellsville and Gordon Griffith of Harrisburg; three nieces and two nephews. Mrs. Schramm was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Ladies Aid Society. A prayer service was held at the Embser Funeral Home in Wellsville 1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon with funeral services in Trinity Lutheran Church at 2:00. The Rev. E. W. Krentz officiated and burial was in the Griffith family plot in Genesee Cemetery.
