| A 26-year-old Coast Guardsman was in critical condition at City Hospital last night after, police said, he accidentally fired a 22 caliber slug into his head while examining a target pistol at the home of a relative in Roxbury. Harry F. Crawley of 5 Aldrich st., Roslindale, went to the home of an aunt, Mrs. Dorothy Gilliland, at 9 Woodbine St., Roxbury, to examine the pistol, said police. Mrs Gilliland said Crawley went to a second floor bedroom with the gun. She said she was in the front room with her sister, Mrs. Agnes Lord, when they heard a loud noise from upstairs, according to police, Upon investigating, they found Crawley on the bedroom floor with the pistol near him. | ||
