Fiscus performed the ceremony. Mr. Gilliland gave his daughter in marriage. Her gown was of cornlace fashioned with a sweetheart neckline and full ballerina-length skirt. She wore a headband of flowers to match colonial bouquet of pink roses. Miss Lois A. Gilliland, sister of the maid of honor in a ballerina length gown of pink marquisette taffeta. Her headband of flowers matched her corsage bouquet of pink roses. The best man was Mr. Gayler S. Quirk, brother in-law of the bridegroom. The ushers were of Mr. James L. Williams and Mr. Elmer W. Richardson, brother of the bridegroom. Mrs. Gilliland chose a dusty rose crepe gown trimmed in lace black velvet accessories. The bridegroom's mother favored a navyblue sheer dress with navy accessories. Each had a, corsage bouquet of roses complementing her dress. A reception given in the church rooms. For traveling to Haliburton Highlands, Ont., the bride wore blue silk Shantung frock with navy accessories and red roses..
