Even when they used supposedly accurate information derived from information written and gotten from descendants of the early Wetzels, Zanes and others from those times. Some of it was gotten from descendants who, because of their age and memory, gave inaccurate information. I think once you start reading Hintzen's book, you will see where a lot of the mistakes come from. Even when I was a small child in the 1930's I remember my Grandfather, Great Aunts and Uncles and others quoting information as fact that they had evidently read from early books about the Zanes and Wetzel's. I remember some of them saying
