  per Dad, Christy worked for the WPA in the early to mid-'thirties. He remembers an incident, while grandpa was working for the WPA and they lived in Lover, PA and the crew was working in front of the house. Edwin (my dad), about 4 (so ca 1932) ran out and stuck his arm in the 'hammer loop' in Christy's (his dad) trousers and it got stuck. He doesn't remember how they finally released his arm, but dad says the work crew got a big kick out of it.- 07 July 2013
