Mrs. Levisa Hatfield Dies at Her Home in Logan County at Age of 87 ____
LOGAN, March 15- (AP)- Mrs. Levisa Hatfield, 87, widow of "Devil Anse" Hatfield, one of the principals of the famed Hatfield-McCoy feud, died at the Hatfield homestead near the head of Island Creek today. Mrs Hatfield recently suffered an attack of pneumonia.
The name of "Devil Anse" was known widely back in the "eighties" when the Hatfield-McCoy feud raged in southern West Virginia. The feud was one of the most notorious and bloody of the mountain country.
Mrs Hatfield was one of the last of either the Hatfield or McCoy families directly connected with the feud. A son, William Anderson Hatfield, known as "Cap", was one of the active figures in
