Beulah Freese, Milford Pepper Wed in California
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schmitz, 847 Shaver road NE, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Beulah Freese, to Cpl. Milford C. Pepper of Coudersport, Pa. The wedding took place Dec. 18 at the Methodist church in Glendale, Calif. The Rev. Ellis of Glendale performed the double ring candelight ceremony.
Attending the couple were the bride's sister, Miss Ozella Freese of Glendale, Lloyd D. Reeks of Los Angeles. The couple were honored wedding supper at the Hofbrau Garden in Hollywood which was given by the bridegroom's crew members. Mrs. will make her home in Cedar Rapids while her husband serves overseas with the army air forces.

000 HONORED ON BIRTHDAY. Mrs. R. J. Moorcroft, 415 Gwendolyn drive NE, entertained at a party Wednesday honoring her son, Ronnie, on his fifth birthday.

Table decorations were carried out in a valentine motif. Guests included Susan Caldwell, Janet Bohren, Duffy Schamberger, Larry and Jon Klima and Margaret and Marilyn Moorcroft. 000 EAST SIDE W.C.T.U. The East Side W.C.T.U. will hold the local institute Tuesday at the home of Mrs.

W. C. Beatty, 1275 Fourth avenue SE. The meeting will begin at 11 a.m. with a picnic luncheon at noon.

The afternoon session will convene at 2 o'clock..
