Elisabeth I. Lowden Watt, Smith-Runner Cemetery Birth: Jan. 31, 1788, Montgomery County, Maryland, USA Death: Aug. 23, 1862, Sand Hill, Warren County, Kentucky, USA Notes: Her head stone reads as Elisabeth, but has also been found as Elizabeth on various documents. Elisabeth was born in Maryland, and migrated to Warren County, before 1803. She came to the area with her uncle, Major Shannon, a veteran of The Revolutionary War and first setteled in Old Shakertown, in Logan County. She then married Jonathan Watt, in 1803, in Warren County, at age 15. Her maiden name has also been found spelled as Louden. She is of Irish and Scottish descent.
