Hello, I am researching my McCoy line to see if there is a connection to the famous McCoys of Kentucky. I have traced them to W.V. and V. I was hoping perhaps you could help. You have a wonderful photograph of Martha Richardson and her 3 brothers and sister-in-law. I think the women in the photo might be my 4th great-grandmother. I have a Mildred (Martha) Richardson 1783-1890 who married Cornelius McCoy 1772-1850, and both were born in Virginia and died in Tenn. I would love to find out who her brothers are in the photo. Can you please shed any light on these folks? I am open to direction.

Martha, wife of Joseph Miller? Or a Mr Harkness? I'm sorry I can't locate it in my Tree now.
I just found the photo in Windows Explorer in and earlier folder- Robertson Richardson, Martha Jane, 3 brothers & sister_in_law.jpg? It says she is her sister-in-law. That's all I have to go on at the moment.
Now I've got to find out how she/they got lost from my current Tree; does this help?

I see that you have the "Conveyance of land Neal Mccoy to Joseph Epperson 1803" in ancestrydotcom. You're probably ahead of me. I only have Cornelius, not Martha, in my current Tree, so I've got some back-tracking to do. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Cornelius McCoy is my half 2nd cousin 5x removed, going back to John Alexander McCoy, my 6th great grandfather.
If you are related to Cornelius, then you are related to the feuding Ran'l, as his father Dan'l is my 3rd grgrandfather; Ran'l's sister Hattie (Harriet) is my 2nd grgrandmother, although perhaps not in a direct line of succession, since John Alexander McCoy is another 3 generations back.
