McCook, Nebraska Madam: I have to advise you that from the papers in the Revolutionary War pension claim, (W?)3334, it appears that Robert Campbell was born January 20, 1755, and was the son of Robert and Catherine. He enlisted in Sussex County, New Jersey, in 1776, and served until 1777 as a private in Captain William Bond's Company in Colonel Ephraim Martin's New Jersey Regiment; he sustained a gunshot wound in the leg at the battle of Long Island and was under surgeon's care ...
