John Wetzel and Nathan Fisher were calling on friends at Polard Sunday.
Quite a number of our young people attended prayer meeting Sunday.
Julia Ankrom was in town Saturday.
Mrs. M. E. Wetzel was calling on Mrs. T. L. Wetzel Friday afternoon.
Miss Goldie Wetzel was calling on her friend Miss Virnie Wetzel, Sunday.
Mrs. W. G. Culp, who has been very ill, is better at this writing.
Miss Mary Jamison attended church at Gravel Hill Saturday evening.
John Wetzel and family were visiting Milton Keller Saturday evening.
Clarence Evans was calling on friends here Sunday.

Frank Behm and family have left for Green county, Pennsylvania, where they will reside in the future.
Mr. and Mrs. Madison Ferrell had a party at their home Monday night which enjoyed by all.
Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Maxwell were visiting at Kidwell Monday.
Mrs. Albert Kinnie of Iuka, came down here Friday to visit her daughter, Mrs. Bertie Ferrell.
W. H. Neff and wife of Captina, O., returned home Thursday after a, visit with relatives at this place.
Mrs. Henry Baker and Miss Emily Clarke of near the Jug, were the guests of Mrs. H. I. Asher Monday evening.
Misses Mary and Martha Fiber spent Thursday afternoon with Mrs. Rebecca Yost, who has been on the sick list.
Brother Strader of the Methodist church, will fill our pulpit here next Sunday at 3 o'clock.
Jacob Neff and Dave Rice are visiting in Monroe county this week.
J. S. Hayes of New Martins- ville, was visiting friends here Sunday.
Quite a crowd of people attend- ed the sale of Frank Behm's Saturday.
Henry Fiber, Theo Bell, Otis Neff, T. E. Burgess and Miss Etta Stewart of this place attended the quarterly conference at Gravel Hill Saturdav.
