Mrs. Tom Maynard Is President Of Jaycee Wives
The Coudersport Jaycee Wives, a group of young women whose husbands belong to the Junior Chamber of Commerce, held their second meeting last Tuesday night in Glassmires dining room.
Joanne Maynard was elected president,
Waneta Snyder, vice president;
Ellamae Campbell, secretary and
Theresa Quimby, treasurer.
Three others were named to the executive board:
- Mariel Pekarski,
- Betty Gosnell and
- Gayle Robbins.
The by-laws and constitution state that Jaycee Wives will aid the Junior Chamber of Commerce and the community in any way possible. It was voted that the Coudersport Jaycee Wives will meet the second Tuesday of every month. Another organization meeting will be held March 5 at Glassmire's prior to the next regular meeting to be held March 12.
