Betty B. Wetzel
Betty B. Wetzel, 65, of Menno Village and formerly of Millport, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 1992, in Menno Haven Nursing Home, where she resided since November 1991, after a lengthy illness.
Born Dec. 4, 1926, in Millport, she was a daughter of Kenyon and Myrtle Russell Morris.
She was a graduate of Shinglehouse High School.
Mrs. Wetzel had worked for Faith Bay Dress Shop, Wellsville, N.Y., and the former Red and White Store, Shinglehouse. She also had been postmaster in Millport; an inspector at AVX Corp., Olean, N.Y.; and judge of elections for South Sharon Township for several years.
On June 28, 1947, in Millport, she married Everett G. "Glenn" Wetzel.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by
a daughter, Nancy W. (Mrs. Jacob H.) Kaufman of Chambersburg;
and a stepsister, Faith Bush of Penn Yan, N.Y.
A service was conducted Monday in Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse. The Rev. M.H. Vincent officiated.
- Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse.
