Funeral Held Friday For Widow Of William C. Monks
Mrs. Rose Mary Monks, 88, of Ulysses died last Tuesday Nov. 12, 1963, in Elllcottvllle, N. V.
She was born in Hebron Township June 10, 1875, the daughter of Nelson and Anna Henley Clark.
She was the widow of the late William C. Monks who died in 1950, and was a member of the Ulysses Methodist Church.
Surviving are
two sons - Guy Sturdevant, Ulysses, and
W. Howard Monks, Kenmore, N.Y.;
two sisters, - Mrs. Mabel Scott, Coudersport, and
- Mrs. Ethel Kenyon, Shinglehouse, and
a brother - LeRoy Clark, Coudersport, RD;
five grandchildren; six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the Koch- Kear Funeral Home at Ulysses Friday, Nov. 15, with the Rev. Thomas Wildman, pastor of the Ulysses Methodist Church, officiating.
- Interment followed in Five Corners Cemetery, Coudersport RD.
