I have Houseknecht ancestors, Potter County. I'm looking for him, to see if we're related. Meanwhile, K. Hosley was another former Coudersport resident (HS grad?), Kate Marion Hosley, daughter of Harry Hugh & Mary "Maymie" Coppersmith Hosley and grand niece of the husband (Jas. Henry Hosley) of the aunt (Adaline Melissa Young) of the wife (Sara M. Crum) of my 3rd great-uncle (Geo. Ebbert Williams). And Herm Mosch was "Uncle Herm" to my former wife, Barbara Ellen Mosch. There are more Potter County surnames in there...

Arthur H. Houseknecht's father, Hurley L. Houseknecht, was killed in 1948 near Hughesville by a car driven by Hurley Yocum (the only two Hurley's I think I've ever seen) who was blinded by the lights of an on-coming car and ran over the former Hurley, who was walking with traffic, not against it, considered the cause of the accident and so an inquest was not pursued.
