August 1955 we drove from Galeton to Lancaster for my uncle Paul Mosch's wedding to Aunt Dottie (McMurray) with Paul's and my own godparents, Dave and Verna Mosch Faulkner of Joppa MD. Depicted L-R: My dad, Dave and Paul (whom Dave called "Benny" because that's how Paul wanted to be known when little); Verna, Dave.

god, yes, it was so humid the cake got sweaty, too -- always reminded me of that when I heard the odd lyric of the Jim Webb song, MacArthur's Park "...all the sweet green icing melting down..."
