Marjory L. Butz, 95, of Coudersport, died on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, at Sweden Valley Manor in Coudersport.
She was born on June 7, 1916, in Colesburg, daughter of Edgar Harvey and Katherine Anna Mosch Tucker.
On Dec. 14, 1940, in the All Saints Church at Brookland she married Wilson C. "Will" Butz, who died on Jan. 13, 2000.

Mrs. Butz was a graduate of Coudersport High School and was valedictorian of her class.
She had been employed at Coudersport Insuring Co. and was later employed as a secretary for the Pennsylvania State Soil and Conservation Service.
She was a member of Park United Methodist Church and a former member of Eulalia Chapter #148 Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a volunteer in the office for the American Cancer Society .
She is survived by three children,
- Wilson E. Butz and his wife, Sarah, of Monument, Colo.,
- Roberta A. Ulkins and her husband, Dennis, of Rochester, N.Y.,
- Roger C. Butz and his wife, Rae of Chandler, Ariz.;
six grandsons;
one granddaughter;
seven great-grandsons;
seven great-granddaughters;
two sisters, Beatrice "Tootie" Clark and her husband, Milford, of Coudersport,
Ruth Thompson of Colesburg;
one brother, Edgar "Sonny" Tucker and his wife, Dorla, of Coudersport;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one brother, Franklin "Bub" Tucker.
Friends are invited to Marjory's Life Celebration beginning on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at the Coudersport Alliance Church with a memorial service beginning at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service for a time of fellowship.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Woodland Cemetery at Five Corners.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marjory's name may be made to Potter County Hospice, 1001 E. Second St., Coudersport, PA 16915, or to the American Cancer Society , or to Woodland Cemetery Association, c/o Mr. John Peet, 407 W. Hebron Road, Coudersport, PA 16915.
