Hall - Snyder (Orilla & Joe) wedding announcement

Hall - Snyder, ca 04 September 1911, Allegany, NY
Miss Orilla Hall of Allegany and mr. Joseph Snyder of Coudersport PA, were married at the home of the bride on the Four Mile on Monday, Sept. 4, at twelve o'clock noon, the Rev. J.A. Nelson pastor of the M.E. Church officiating. About 30 friends of the happy couple witnessed the ceremony. Among the out-of-town guests present were:
- Miss Ruth Lewis & Miss Lulu Lewis of Vineland, NJ
- Mr. Andrew Snyder,
- Mrs. Fred Snyder and
- Mr. & Mrs. Almond Dingman of Coudersport, PA,
- Mr. & Mrs. Daniel Snyder of Belvidere, NY
- Mr. & Mrs. Hans Buerk of Buffalo, and
- Miss Doris Perry of Shinglehouse.
The wedding party marched in to strais of Lohengrins wedding march played by Miss Ruth Lewis. The bride was attended by her cousin Miss Flora Bell, while Clarence Summerson acted as best man. The bride was dressed in a beautiful gown of blue silk and carried a boquet of white chrysanthemums. The house was beautifully decorated with asters and ferns. After a honeymoon, which will embrace Buffalo, Toronto, and other points, the wedded couple will make their home in Allegany.
