Inducted in April, 1943, Harry Dean Tauscher, A.O.M.T. 3rd Class, is the son of Harry Tauscher of North Hollow. He received his boot training at Sampson, NY and later attended aviator ordnance school in Memphis, Tenn. He was graduated from a similar school at Jacksonville, Fla. His address is:

Studying to Become Aviation Ordnanceman
Harry D. Tauscher, 19, son of Harry J. Tauscher, Coudersport, who enlisted in Buffalo, April 17, 1943, and took boot training at Sampson, NY is now attending a training school at Memphis, Tenn. He is receiving instruction as aviation ordnanceman.
