AGED WOMAN DIES
Loving Mother Is Taken From Earthly Cares After Many Years of Life
Mrs. Rodentha Galpin, widow of Frank Galpin died Tuesday afternoon at her home on Sweden Hill, where she resided with her children, David, William and Mrs. Fanny Seywell. She was seventy-seven years old in October and was the daughter of David Jacobs.
She was a good Christain woman, a member of the Adventist church. The funeral services were held at the Chase school house at eleven o'clock this morning.
Beside the children who resided with her, one son Riley Galpin. who is well known in the county and who now lives in Rochester. N. Y. survives her. Also one brother, John Jacobs of Sweden and one sister, Mrs. J. B. Glase of North Coudersport. She leaves many life long friends who mourn her death.
