Harry E. Russell, 77, Retired Gas Company Worker, Passes Away
SHINGLEHOUSE - Harry E. Russell, 77, retired employee of the Empire Fuel & Gas Co.. died this morning after a brief illness at St. Francis Hospital in Olean.
He was horn in Potter County and had lived here all his life, He retired ten years ago after about 25 years with the gas company. His activities included membership in the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth:
four daughters,
- Mrs. Perry Hanks. Allentown.
- Mrs. Ernest R. Wade of Clanksberg, W. Va.;
- Mrs. Leo Hackett of Smethport, and
- Mrs. Robert McLaughlin of Las Vegas, Nev.;
five grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren,
and a sister, Mrs. Kenyon Morris of Millport.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete this monning.
