Father of Olean Man Passes Away in Roulette
________
ROULETTE, Pa, March 17- Lyman B. Burt, 86 years old, died at 7 o'clock March 14 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Orla Weirmiller of Roulette, after an illness of one week.
He was born November 13, 1888 in Burtville and had lived in Roulette township all his life.
He was married to Miss Mary Noether of Roulette. She died April 3, 1910.
His father was John K. Burt, the first male child born in Potter County. His mother was Orilla Lyman.

Mr. Burt was a character picture of Uncle Sam and had taken the part of Uncle Sam many times in parades and plays.

He is survived by
two daughters,
- Mrs. Orla Weirmiller and
- Miss Madie Burt of Roulette,
three sons,
- Chester of West Henley street, Olean,
- Monta Burt of Coundersport and
- Cinso Burt of Roulette,
three brothers,
- Aden Burt of Ashville, North Carolina,
- J.C. Burt of Port Allegeny and
- Benjamin Burt of Burtville,
one sister,
- Mrs. Anita Coleman of Burtville and
six grandchildren.

Mr and Mrs C.L. Burt of West Henley Street are in Roulette to attend the funeral which was held today.
