GERE—Albert Gere, 77, South Montrose, Pa, died Friday in the Binghamton General Hospital after a short illness.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Jennie Welch Gere, Dimock, Pa;
a daughter, Mrs John (Alberta) Miller, Newburgh;
four sons Howard Gere, Romulus,
Paul Gere, Endwell,
Donald Gere, Sherburne,
Homer Gere, N Syracuse;
14 grandchildren.
He was a member of the Brooklyn Lodge IOOF, the Brooklyn Grange and the South Montrose Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Sunday at the Brooklyn Methodist Church, Brooklyn, Pa. The Rev George Dickinson of the Montrose Methodist Church, assisted by the Rev Henry Westfall, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Brooklyn. Friends may call at the Bowen Funeral Home, Montrose, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
