SCALDED TO DEATH
Goldie Frances Taylor, the 22- months-old daughter of Chester Taylor of Turtle Point, McKean County, was fataly scalded when she backed into a pail of scalding water that wa standing on the floor in the kitchen. She died 12 hours later.
The accident happened when the child, who was playing with a cart, was walking backward, pulling the cart after her. She backed into the pail of water and sat down in it. Though other members of the family were present, it happened so quickly that they could not prevent it. The water had been heated to put into the radiator of an automobile, and had been set down on the floor only a few minutes before the child fell into it.
