Mr. Aaron DeGroff, an old resident of the town of Wethersfield, was buried at Smith's Corner last Wednesday. Rev. Mr. Conklin of Hermitage officiated.
The remains of Aaron DeGroff, a old time resident of this place were laid at rest in our cemetery, Wednesday, by the side of his wife.
He was an uncle of Mrs. Ada Baker and Willis Morgan of this place.

rest in peace! My great great grandfather was your brother Heman who is not listed here. You also had a sister Deliah. Heman married Ellen M. Shaw and had my greatgrandfather Clinton Eugene Degroff and also Mary Lillian Degroff.

"The first annual reunion of the DeGroff family was held on Saturday, August 24, 1907 at the farm home of Harrison DeGroff on the Ceres road. Fifty five people were in attendance and a most enjoyable time was had. A fine dinner was served at 12 o'clock. In the afternoon, there was speaking by the Misses Alice and Eliza Reed of Bliss, James Reed and Mr. Metcalf of Wethersfield, and Harrison DeGroff. Following this, a group picture was taken of those present, and also a separate one of Mr. and Mrs. DeGroff and their children."
