I have many wonderful memories of Bob and Artie Roberts being in their house and garage. Such nice people. Summers were always fun when their Grandkids the Anderson’s were here! Rafting in the creek behind the house, sleeping out under the stars! Throwing hand made airplanes of “Old Baldy”. I am still friends with their Grandson Karl who lives in Washington state.

Bob was also owner and bus driver of the bus we kids in Millport rode. I could be wrong but I believe it was a 1953 Chevy (same year as me) and Artie kept it clean and painted inside. I remember Paul Blauvelt was one of the “big boys”!

Victor Fosmer He had two buses, could be the 53 your talking about and a 59. He built two bays on to the garage in the pic and the buses were kept inside nights and weekends. Bob drove the newer one and Leon Drake drove the other, when I started school.

Tom Calhoun Uncle Bob or Pat Prince drove my bus from 11 Mile to Millport School for grades 1-3, then Leon drove us from 11 Mile over Plank Road, Dodge Road and Honeoye to Shinglehouse before we moved into S'house during grade 5.

I can remember riding both the routes, I'd ride to work with my dad and get on the buss right in the garage. That was a perk when my dad worked at my uncles garage.

The little house to the left of the garage was where I grew up with my parents Marty and Marlene Watson. My brother Ken Watson and his wife Janice Kleppinger Blewitt Watson live there now.
