Pauline H. Huston
Young Wife and Mother Dies After Illness of One Week.
Mrs. Pauline Huston of Austin, ill but one week, died in the Potter County Memorial Hospital, Saturday (July 18, 1953).
Pauline Virginia Hackett was born at Austin, March 8, 1927, a daughter of Christopher T. and Charlotte Jeffers-Hackett. Her whole life was Spent at Austin. There she graduated from high school in 1945, and at St. Marys she married Francis Huston, Aug. 16, 1947. She was an employe of the Sylvania plant in Emporium for five years.
Survivors are her husband;
- one son, Robert Arthur, and
- a daughter, Nancy Eileen.
Her parents survive with
- one brother, Lloyd G. Hackett, all of Austin.
The body was taken from the Grabe Funeral Home to the home of her parents and funeral service was fom the Methodist Church Tuesday at 2:00 o'clock with the Rev. William Phillips officiating.
Burial was in Inez Cemetery. Pallbearers were:
- Boyd Ludwig,
- Mahlon Ludwig,
- Laverne Wolfanger,
- Foster Crosby,
- Marcus Lamont and
- Herbert Cooney.
Stork Shower Given to Honor Mrs. Losey
Mrs. Jean Beckman and Miss Midge Losey were hostesses at a stork shower held at the Losey home Thursday evening in honor of Mrs. Ardella Losey of Mahaffey, Pa. Guests who gathered to spend an enjoyable evening were

- Miss Laverna Peter.
The guests enjoyed an evening of games with a delicious lunch served to the guests from a table attractively decorated with a center piece of pink carnations ana white pom poms. The guest of honor received many lovely and useful gifts. Mrs. Losey the guest of honor was visiting at the Losey home.
