DIES IN HOSPITAL
III Several Months, Death Relieves Suffering of Good Woman Late Tuesday.
The death of Mrs. Hattie Blue Angood occurred late Tuesday night after an illness of several months. Four weeks ago she was taken to the Coudersport Hospital for treatment remaining there until last, Sunday when she was removed to her home on Dwight Street. Her condition became worse and she returned to the hospital early Tues day morning, expiring that night.
She was born in Westfield, October 13, 1859. On May 4, 1885 she was united in marriage to W. W. Angood, of Ulysses and since that time had lived in this county and 1 had been a resident of Coudersport for many years. For a number of years she conducted a tailoring establishment in the building now occupied by Dominic Castano.
Besides her husband, her only surviving near relative is a nephew Marshall Benn, of Pittsburgh, who had been here to see her during her illness.
She was an enthusiastic member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Funeral services will be held In the Park Methodist Episcopal Church, at 2 oclock, Friday, the pastor, Dr. Homer B. Potter, officiating.
- Interment will be made in Eulalia Cemetery.
