Fishing Creek Jots.
Rev. E. A. Snyder, of Odessa, was in thiB place Wednesday evening and will preach next Sunday at 3 o'clock.
Mrs. Myron Ostrander, of Roulette, was at this place last week.
Otis Church has put up a camp on the Weimer and Tauscher job and moved into it last week.
Harvey Wakeley and wife, of Clara, passed through this place to and from Roulette.
Mrs. Addie Van Kuren and her mother, Mrs. Nichols, of Roulette, were through this place on their way to and from Shingle House.
After the 1st of July the mail will be carried from Durward to Roulette on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. All persons wishing to send letters or other mail on these days are requested to have their mail at the post . office at 11 o'clock.
Albert Tauscher and Ali Weimer and their families were at Mina last Sunday.
Orsen Cole was through this place.
Ira Knight and family, George aud Michael and their families were at Isaac Dingman's Sunday.
Mrs. Carrie Seymour and son Sundayed with her parents.
Charles Mervin and wife were at home Sunday.
Mr. Andrews of Honeoye preached at the M. E. Church Sunday.
There was a good crowd in attendance at the ice cream social at A. Turner's, proceeds $9.00.

Roy Millen is working in the bark woods at Veley and Almon Peckham at Corbett.
Miss Edna Neefe, of Sweden, spent several days with her aunt, Mrs. Lena Andrews, at this place, last week.
Miss Alice Sheon, of Steuben county, is assisting Mrs. H. C. James with her housework.
Miss Elsie Stonemetz, who is working for Mrs. William Currier, of Veley, visited at her home last Saturday night and Sunday, and called on friends here.
Mary and Will Bishop and Delia Scoville have recovered from attacks of German measles.
Leon Millen is working for Del Conable in the cheese factory at Hickox.
Little Maude Morley, of Gold, recently visited her cousin, Eva Scoville.
Miss Clara Carpenter, of Colesburg, and niece, Linda Fletcher, of Hemlock, were guests of Mrs. Mary Scoville Saturday night and Sunday.
Dayton Pomeroy, wife and infant son, of Roulette, are visiting Mrs. Pomeroy's parents and brother, Alfred Cool and wife and W. P. Cool, at this place.
Arthur Scoville drove to Hickox and Genesee, Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Boyd visited at West Pike over Sunday.
Mrs. Sanford is visiting her relatives at Nelson and Addison.
Mr. W. H. Dickenson is repairing his barn.
Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Shaw, of Coudersport, at the home of Mrs. Shaw's parents, A. D. Cook and wife, a son.
The young men of this place are advised to look at their buggy wheels before they start for a ride with their girls.
Leola Teauscher and Fern Hazlett called at Satie Shutts one day last week.
The Sunday School of this place is doing nicely. There is an attendance of 25 or 30 every Sunday.
