Mrs. Sylvia Hamilton
Mrs. Sylvia Hamilton passed away July 8 after a year and more of illness. On July 8, 1957 she fell in her home breaking her hip.
Mrs. Hamilton was born in Bingham Township, Nov. 1, 1866 and was united in marriage to Martin Hamilton Nov. 19, 1884 and
he passed away Oct. 1957.
She leaves to mourn her loss
- one daughter, Mrs. Emma Empson of Bingham Center;
- one son, Harland, 1 where she has always lived;
16 grandchildren;
28 great grandchildren.
Her funeral was held in the Free Methodist Church in Ulysses, Friday at 2:00 o'clock. Rev. Floyd Taylor, of Williamsport, was the clergyman. She will be missed in this vicinity. As long as she was able she was always willing to lend a helping hand in time of need.

Martin Hamilton
Martin Hamilton, life long resident of this neighborhood passed away at his home Oct. 31 at 6:40 p.m. He was born Nov. 28, 1881 in Bingham Twp. where he has always lived. He was married Nov. 19, 1884 to Sylvia Tarbox. Surviving are
- his widow and
- one son, Harland, and
- daughter, Mrs. Jake Empson, of Bingham Center,
16 grandchildren and
26 great grandchildren besides nieces and nephews.
Funeral was held Saturday at 2 :00 p.m. in the Free Methodist Church at Ulysses of which he was always a member. Rev. Taylor of Williamsport was the minister assisted by Rev. Logan of Ulysses. Sympathy is extended to the family.
