• DROVE OVER THE BANK
Mrs. Ella Stearns, Her Three Sons and Sister Drove Over the Bank in Their Overland
Last Friday, while Mrs Ella Stearns her sister, Mrs. John Miller, and Mrs. Stearns' three sons, Donald, Harold and Leland, were motoring through Carter Camp had the misfortune to drive over the bank near the Karhan place. The car turned completely over landing on the top. None of the occupants suffered very serious injuries, but Mrs. Stearns is suffering from a hurt foot and Harold strained himself quite badly endeavoring to right the car. The Overland car was quite badly damaged. It was a very fortunate thing that the results were no more serious.
MARRIED LAST THURSDAY
Miss Frances Crum, of Coudersport and T. J. Cox, of Harrison Valley, were married last Thursday at Hempstead, N. Y. They are now at Garden City, from which place Mr. Cox, who is a soldier expects to sail very soon. Mrs. Cox will return to Coudersport and resume her duties in the Robinson store. Mrs. Cox is a very efficient clerk and a charming young lady who has a host of friends who extend to her their best wishes for her future.
HAD AN ACCIDENT
One day last week the rigs driven by Miles Harris and David Mitchell collided and while there was no serious injuries Mr. Mitchell paid Mr. Harris $3.50 for damages done to his rig.
