Nice picture of Clarence Buck. How are you guys connected? Clarence is the son of Clarence Ulysses Buck and Ada Dartt. Clarence (Sr.) is the brother of my Great Grandfather Charles Henry Buck. Would you be interested in sharing info?

Clarence Jr is the husband of the 2nd cousin 2x removed (Laura Elisia Yentzer) of my aunt Suzie Spring Getchell. Actually, Suzie is the youngest daughter of my grandparents. She was adopted(?) by my great aunt & uncle Liz & Ray Snyder Tauscher when my grandmother passed away in 1953 in Allegany, NY. Aunt Liz & uncle Ray lived next door when I was growing up in Coudersport, PA so I got to know Aunt Suzie pretty well.
The connection with Suzie is a little tenuous, since it was through an adoption, but Uncle Ray (William Raymond Tauscher) is also related to me other than by having married my great aunt, but this gets really complicated.
Thank you for writing; I apologize for not responding immediately but I only check messages occasionally... All excuses are lousy, I'll try to do better.

BTW, Did you see the newspaper article, or otherwise know, about the fire at the Buck Explosive Co, 1910 in Coudersport, where Bernard Buck and his father Clarence, Sr were killed?
These Bucks are distantly related to Robert Armand Buck, husband of Jeannette Lois Morley, my 3rd cousin 1x removed. Small world, at least in Potter County, PA.
