Attack Is Fatal
Hans Benson, West Pen Employee, Dies At His Home.
The death of Hans Benson last Thursday monring (July 4, 1957) came as a shock not only to his family but his friends as well. The end came quickly at the family home at 115 East Seventh Street.
Mr. Benson, who an employee of the West Penn Power Co, was born at Wilcox, PA Oct 1, 1897. He was a son of John A. and Louise C. Johnson Benson. Mrs. Benson is the former Roma Starr.
Other survivors are
two sons and two daughters:
- Walter F.
- Richard H. Benson,
- Phyllis L. Noreck and
- Gayle R. Robbins,
and six grand children.
- One brother is August Benson, Hamilton, Ohio and
three sisters,
- Mrs. Harry Larson, Kane, Pa,
- Mrs. Emma Anderson, wilcox
- Mrs. Mary Anderson, Bradfor.
Deceased was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Services were held at 2:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Hanley-Lindhome Funeral Home. The Rev. Kenneth Lewis officiated.
- Interment was in Eulalia Cemetery.
