In St. Thomas's Protestant Episcopal church, Whitemarsh, Pa., the marriage of Miss Amy Roberts, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George R. Roberts, 66 West Johnson street, Germantown, Pa., to Mr. John Carl Vance, of this city, was quietly solemnized Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. in the presence of only immediate relatives. The Rev. Dr. Miller, rector in charge, officiated. The bride was unattended. Mr. John W. Davis, of Clarksburg, was the bridegroom's best men and present also at the ceremony was Mr. Lynn S. Hornor of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Vance will be at home to their many friends after September 1, at 410 West Pike street..
