-Death of Wilson P. Hollenbeck, of Coudersport-
Wilson P. Hollenbeck, of Coudersport, died at the residence of Dr. Post, on the 12th of October, at the age of 31 years. He was a son of John Hollenbeck, of Hebron Hill, and brother of Hon. C. Hollenbeck, of Nebraska. Mr. Hollenbeck has been engaged in teaching school in Potter county for several years and was a young gentleman of superior education, and sound and extensive reading. In April last he contracted a severe cold, which settled upon his lungs and from which he never fully recovered. On the 1st of October, while teaching a select school at Raymond, he was taken with hemorrage of the lungs and starting for home got as far as Dr. Post's, where he sank rapidly, dying on Friday morning, the 12th. He was a widower, and leaves a little daughter, five or six years of age.

His Father and Mother lived till 1900 and 1901. And he had a few brothers and sisters. More then likely she was taken in by one of them. The Hollenbeck Cemetery is just over the hill from me.

I found her on Ancestry - Maud Elsie Hollenbeck ! She married George Bly in 1891 & had 2 sons, died in 1939 in Schuyler Co., NY. (I always wonder about the children too !)

Robert Saulter
John Hollenback home was on the area now where TGT pumping station is and and farming area across the road.My Grandfather owned it and sold the one side of road to TGT. Growing up we still referred to it as the Hollenback place.
