NOTICE is hereby given that there will be a meeting of the Potter Co. Teachers' Association at the Red School House, in Roulet Township, commencing at 10 o'clock a. m, on Thursday, January 7th, 1859. At this meeting Essays are expected from Messrs. O. J. Spafford, D. Whipple, jr., and H. P. Bird; also, from Misses Augusta J. Spafford and Jane Hydorn. R. Z. Roberts and D. H. Judd were appointed to write Reviews, viz.: C. H. Allen to review Weld's Grammar;

J. W. Bird to review McNally's Complete School Geography; Miss M. Hopkins to review Colton and Fitch's Geography; Miss Clara Ensign to review Smith's Quarto Geography. In addition to the above, there are Resolutions in respect to the Intellectual, Moral and Religious Qualifications of Teachers, The "Word-Method' of Teaching. The Alphabet, and The County Superintendency; all of which are tabled for consideration at this meeting.
