Lawrence Erway Jr. Married Recently In New Jersey
Miss Louise Lillian Vieth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis J. Vieth of Plainfield, N. J., and Lawrence C. Erway Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Erway, of Ulysses, were united in marriage June 25 at the Hydewood Park Baptist Church, North Plainfield.
The Rev. John Carrara performed the ceremony with the Rev. Arthur Meneely, of Ulysses, and Dr. William Mierop assisting.
The bride's gown was of silk organza fashioned with Alencon lace and styled with a bouffant skirt terminating in a chapel train. A wreath of orange Blossoms held her veil of French illusion and she carried a dark green ivy cascade with white stocks and red rose buds.
Mrs. H. William White, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor, The bridesmaids were Miss Helen Grondal of Belmont, Mass., and Miss June Jacoby, of North Plainfield. Becky Lynn White, niece of the bride, was flower girl and Thomas White, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
Melvin Erway was best man for his brother. Ushers were H. William White, brother-in-law of the bride, Kenneth Coutts, of Warwick, NY and Lennard Marcy, of Woodstock, Conn.
The bride is a graduate of Plainfield High School and Barrington College. Mr. Erway, who attended the Northern Potter Joint High School, is a graduate of Barrington College and plans to attend graduate school at Brown University in the fall.
Mr. and Mrs. Erway will live in Providence. R. I.
