Cherry Feely , James D Kemp, The original Cheese Factory sat in the middle of the cemetery (which needed more room), so, the original structure above was placed on skids and pulled to it's new location where it remains today. It amazes me that the shape has never changed....just new siding, roof, and front porch. Love it ! grace maxson titus

Somebody should post a modern picture so I can visualize where this is. I've been gone 30+ years.

Which one is this? I assume it's one of the cheese factories in the directory. I loved the cheese and curds from one in the Shinglehouse area when I was a kid, not sure which one- possibly in Myrtle?

Cherry Feely Thanks, but I still don't know which cheese factory, by name. I'm not nearly as familiar with the area as y'all. (I grew up in Coudersport, but my dad's family was in Shinglehouse, I had ancestors in Ceres, which was on the way to Allegany, NY where my mother grew up.) I'm keenly interested in this history.
