Cora Clark Lanphere (1868-1935) was born the daughter of John M Clark (1838-1873) and Phoebe Elizabeth McDowell Reed (1845-1941)
Her know siblings:
sister, Mrs. M. H. Holley,
half-brother's: R. W. Reed, and
Frank W. Reed, and
half-sister, Leona Reed and
She married Frank B. Lanphere (1864-1958) in October 1896.
Cora's known child was Lloyd Nimrod Lanphere (1899 PA-), Plus, her step children were;
- Sadie Lanphere Hackett, and
- Leon Lanphere.
Lloyd was in the 1910 & 1920 censuses with his parents. He was in WWII.
She attended, the Old Homes week in Ceres and was an officer
she was elected secretary, for the next years convention.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank B. Lanphere of Ceres, who died last Thursday at the Higgins Memorial hospital, Olean, where she had been a patient for the past six weeks suffering from a broken hip, were held Saturday afternoon from the late home. The Rev. William Farnum of Holland, N.Y., a former Ceres pastor, officiated,
- with burial in Portville cemetery.
Mrs. Lanphere was born at Sartwell Creek, Feb. 8, 1870.
Her maiden name was Cora Clark.
She was married in October, 1896, and had been a resident of Ceres for the past 32 years.
She was an active worker in the Methodist church, a member of the Ladies Aid. the Eastern star of Shinglehouse and the Lady Maccabees of Olean.
Surviving are her husband,
- one son, Lloyd Lanphere of Toledo, O.,
- a step-son, Leon Lanphere, Oaks N. D.,
- a step-daughter, Mrs. Sadie Hackett of Rochester and seven grandchildren. Also,
- a sister, Mrs. M. H. Holley Butler, Pa.;
two half-brothers,
- R. W. Reed, Geneva, N. Y. and
- Floyd w. Reed of Shinglehouse;
- one half-sister, Miss Leona Reed and her mother, Mrs. Phoebe Reed Shinglehouse.
Among those from Bolivar and Little Genesee who attended the funeral were:
