This picture was taken circa 1948 when the driver worked summers at Abbots while attending Lock Haven University.

Interesting. I inherited another version of the photo (attached). It was in the extensive collection I inherited from my mother. However, I didn't know anything about the photo.

Also this attached photo was in my mother's collection. The man is my father Jake Hamilton, who was an Abbotts supervisor at the time. My speculation now is that the two photos were taken at the same time, perhaps by my mother Luella (Mitchell) Hamilton. Perhaps both trucks were in a parade.
I cannot find the originals right now, but when I find them, I will check the backs for any information.
