· DAUGHTER OF BAD FRANK & NANCY MCCOY PHILLIPS: This photograph is of Flora Phillips Pickup (1894-1993), the daughter of Frank "Bad Frank" Philips (1861-1898) and Nancy McCoy Hatfield Phillips (1865-1901) of Pike County, Kentucky.
During the feud-era, Bad Frank, a man who claimed to have once road with outlaw Jesse James and the James Gang, was a Kentucky deputy and the sworn enemy of the feudin' Hatfields.
Flora's siblings were Elsie Phillips Ford (1889-1952); Jesse James Phillips (1892-1985); Roy Phillips (1896-1970); and Goldie Ethel Phillips Rayburn (1902-1985).
Her half-siblings (being the children of Johnse Hatfield and Nancy McCoy Hatfield Phillips) included William Anderson "Ansie" Hatfield (1884-1917); and Stella Hatfield (1886-1900).
Another half sibling was Frank Phillips Jr., the son of Bad Frank and Mary Frances Rowe Phillips Justice (1863-1953).
Flora's husband was Roy Pickup (1882-1942).
