Mrs. Margaret B. Daugherty, 239 Reed Street, Falls Creek, died Friday, August 30, in the Maple Avenue Hospital. Mrs. Daugherty, 82, had resided in Falls Creek for the past 65 years.
Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Wallace G. Winegard, were held Monday, September 2, from the Eldon V. Mohney Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Beechwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Daugherty was born February 4, 1886 in Illinois, daughter of John and Helen Bakewell Beattle. She was married to William Earl Daugherty who died in June of 1955. She was a member of the Falls Creek Presbyterian Church.
Surviving is
- a daughter, Miss Dorothy Daugherty of Falls Creek;
- a son, Kenneth, Smethport;
- a brother, George of Canton, Ohio;
three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A son, Reynold, preceded her in death.
