Will of Nicholas Row 25 Apr 1786 In the name of God amen, I Nicolas Row of Amenia precinct in Dutchess and State of New York being weak in body, but of sound mind and memory (blessed be to God) do this twenty-fifth day of April in the year of one thousand seven hundred and eight six make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following (that is to say) in primary I commend my soul into the hand of Almighty God, who gave it to me and my body to the earth whence it came, in hopes of a joyful resurrection through the merits of our saviour Jesus Christ, and as for that worldly estate where with it has Godd to bless me I dispose thereof as follows: First I give to my well beloved son, Nicolas Row and to his heirs and assigns forever all the farm or land now in his actual possession on which he now lives and improves, likewise I give to my well beloved son Garret Row, his heirs and assigns forever all the land and premises in his actual possession and improvement....
