The kids look a lot better off to me than youngsters who were in school after the Great Depression took more of a toll, as well as World War 2. These kids mostly grew up during The Roaring Twenties ????

Grace, do you mean Elmer Sylvaneus? I have him born in 1904, which would make him 28 when this picture was taken, although I think he died in 1926. Did your grandparents have another Elmer? Just trying to get some things to fit. ????

John Christy Wetzel My sister Barb and I went round about this subject last time it was posted. You do have the correct name and dates, they do not match with the dated picture . Our G'father Erwin Enoch had a brother 20 yrs older, Anson A Maxson m:Lillian Maybie......also had sons Earnest (1875) and there was an Elmer there someplace also, but they would be even older......we think Erwin and Grace were living on McCrea Brook Rd at the time Elmer was in school there. Not absolutely positive but probably never will be. Erwin and his father Enoch logged the area, lashed logs together and floated then to Pgh, walked back. My best Uncle Anson Story.

Do these names read from right to left? Boy-girl is correct that way, along with teacher.
