Potter Enterprise, 12 Sept 1918-
It would appear the Albert Davey homestead (now known as the Long Farm) was the center of many gatherings, wedding showers, birthday parties, family reunions.
This first Potter Enterprise dated July 2, 1925 describes a surprise, 26th, birthday party for my grandfather, Lawrence David Snyder. Party attendees,
- Stanley & Olive Mosch Metzger and their son, Owen, were bordering farm neighbors. They lived on the current Waterwheel Farm.
- Mrs Ford Snyder was Minnie Dunn Snyder, daughter of Michael & Sarah Ellison Dunn

Are all of the articles 1925? I'm especially interested in the reunion, great to have a list of attendees.

It would be interesting to know the year of this reunion. Dollie Fuller Davey died 08 Sept 1925- right after this reunion? Where was their home? I can't locate a 'Route 3', but I presume it is in Allegheny twp.

This Potter Enterprise article was dated 12 September 1918. The Davey Farm was on the right side of route 49, driving from Colesburg to Gold, PA. The Dwight Creek road turns off route 49, where a bridge crosses the Allegheny River. Albert Davey's house was a 200 to 300 hundred yards beyond the bridge. You may know of it as the "Long Farm". An Elliot family currently lives there. Perhaps that dirt road that runs north from the Davey Farm up to the Dunn Farm was called "Route 3"
