Eileen Snyder was raised by my Grandparents. She was beautiful and very sweet.

Was Eileen adopted, step, or foster child? My mother, Merlyn Spring Wetzel and gr-aunt Liz Snyder Tauscher, explained this some decades ago when my interest in the family history was just getting off the ground but the details have faded some.
I remember that Charlie 'just didn't have the resources' after Lorena died.

I would go out and get a sun burn so I would peal and Ruth would peal my back on the steps of our old house on the farm. My hart was broken the day she got married. The first wedding I ever went to.????????????

Mr. Splain. Lord, I was so scared of him! One time I had just gotten up nerve to ask him to go to the bathroom and Nick Langworthy did or said something he didn't like Right in the front of me and he knocked Nick sideways, books went flying and I peed my pants!
