Mrs. Card has been visiting friends in Colesburg and vicinity for Ike past week.
Mrs. Jessie Faulk made Mrs. L. R. Toombs a very pleasant call, Sunday evening.
We are glad to note John Lawton Is making improvements by building a new stone wall under his residence on East Second street and improving his property in many other ways.
Mrs. Simer of Port Allegany, is assisting her mother, Mrs. Olmsted, in the store in Ladona.
Guy Rio has moved his family to Coudersport for the winter.
The Civil War veterans were in vited to attend the smoker given by the Legion boys November 9th. All report a fine time and were pleased to be present at the wedding of John Baker, one of the Legion boys.
Blick Nuff of Buffalo street, kill ed a fine hog which weighed 300 pounds, recently.
Mrs. George Rossman of North Hollow and Mrs. Arch Snyder of Sweden Hill, made Mrs. L. R Toombs a pleasant call Sunday evening.
Mr. Maxon, Mrs. C. C. Warren's father of Portville, ia spending a time with her.
James Glace, night worden at the County Home, is quite ill at this writing.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bushey and daughter, Pearl Phelps of Hebron, called on Mr. and Mrs. Dan Dwight, Thursday evening.
Frank Bartoo of Cuba, called on friends in Ladona, Sunday.
Lewis Wallace and wife of Bolivar, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Dan Dwight.
The Community Club met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mahon, Thursday afternoon.
Jessie Faulk had the misfortune to injure his eye while at work in the garage.

Mrs. Estella Bernard returned to her home in Lake Providence, La., Monday after spending the past year at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. R. Thatcher.
Mrs. Bessie Benjamin of Coudersport, visited at the home of Mrs. Charles Haglund last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Church were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cooney.
Juan Gillette has built a new barn.
