-- This community was shocked Sunday afternoon when it was announced that Frank North was dead. One half hour before his death he ate a hearty dinner, and, to all appearances, was as well as usual and in good health. He went to get a load of wood and had started to return, when he was seen to stagger backwards and fall to the ground and was dead before anyone could get to him.
Apoplexy was the cause of his death. Mr. North was fifty years old and came to this place from Friendship, NY, about thirty years ago and has resided here ever since. He was a good neighbor and citizen and will be greatly missed. He leaves, to mourn his loss,
- a widow,
- two sons,
- one daughter and
- an aged mother.
The funeral services were held in the M.E. church at one o'clock Wednesday and was largely attended. The family with the aged mother have the sympathy of the whole community.
- Interment in the Bell Run cemetery.
